I came in to see about getting an inhaler, zofran, and something for my nasal symptoms. Instead they got mad at me for asking for an emesis bag, prescribed me zofran, and refused to tell me what i did that was so bad the nurse had to get angry when i vomited. It may have been because at the same time, she was trying to ask me about what medications i regularly take, so maybe i should’ve just vomited on myself. But then, that tends to make them angry too. I’ve never had a good experience here and I should have known better and just went to my PCP. I have strep, with exudates on my tonsils however the nurse looked in my throat and did the strep test. The doctor then came in to tell me it was negative and didn’t look at my throat I asked if that was rapid and they will send the culture she said it was both I’m not sure how you can get growth on a culture in 10 minutes? My daughter has level one autism, where places and people tend to overwhelm her. Doctors offices being one of those places. Every single person we talked to, from the Receptionists, to the Doctor went above and beyond to make my daughter comfortable. This was her first enjoyable doctor visit since she's been an infant, thank you so much.
