Overall our stay and cabin was nice with beautiful views. We love staying in Grand Lake and this was a great location during the fall colors. Unfortunately the check out process left us with a bad experience and we will not be using this company again. They asked us to collect and take our garbage to a site across town at the end of our stay. With two small babies and a very full car, this was incredibly frustrating and difficult to manage. Amazing experience and staff are beyond helpful!
Buyer beware - we booked a reservation through VRBO stating a cancellation policy of 100% refund on the listing. The small print of a separate terms sheet they require you to sign, near the last page, lists a $52 booking fee and $50 cancellation fee...this was NOT on the VRBO listing or confirmation from VRBO, which very clearly stated: "House Rules Check in after 4:00 PM Check out after 10:00 AM Cancellation Policy 100% refund for cancellations requested by Jun 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM (property's local time)."
