Ex. Fireman/ EMT ,who heard voices, cries for help by myself. Now it's a depressing stuff, kinda about getting old. They helped got me back to normal.
This place I awful and WILL push you to being worse then you were before you went in. My partner went to the er completely voluntary and even though he said not here or Parkside they still sent him here. They don't have any rooms everyone sleeps in the same room on chairs. They refuse to give him the proper diet that he has requested (vegetarian) they are letting other patients bully him including calling him slurs. I personally have had an okay experience so far with getting treatment here. However, on behalf of my husband, I had to make an appointment for him, his appointment was today (07/23/2025) and he had the worst experience. Upon getting there, there were miscommunications and misunderstandings on why he was even there or what the appointment was for. I love my therapist team and everything, but I self-admited for suicidal thoughts. If the staff has a crazy person who won't listen they can't touch them. They basically have to beg the patient to be good. Meanwhile, the rest of the group suffers and gets worse. How about moving said crazy person far away from all the ones who want to get help? Don't just move them from room to room, next the rest of the patients, and let the crazy back out and start again. One person who came for help left due to a crazy person not shutting... read more
