The view and decor of this place make the dining experience highly memorable. For that alone, its worth trip. Take all that away though, and you have an very average Cheesecake Factory...minus cheesecake even being on the menu. My whole day was ruined because I drove there and there is no parking anywhere; I'll never go back
Food is amazing but the wait can be long and the service unpredictable. This is a frequent stop for my family and I when we want to enjoy a nice sit down meal. We have enjoyed every dish we've ordered, which has included: fish and chips, chicken piccata, the BLT sandwich, and the chop house burger. Just a more fancy version of The CheeseCake Factory, minus the cheesecake. Alot of the same menu items. I wounldn't say ones better then the other.I like the location and the seating along the windowns are very nice.
Never had Grand Lux's breakfast/brunch before, but recently visited their Chicago location. Food was great and service was very good considering how busy it was. Definitely recommend it and kid friendly as well.
The Grand Lux Cafe is in a fantastic location. Whether you are a guest of Chicago or resident, this is one of the most reasonable great restaurants around. It is owned by the Cheesecake factory and similarily has a huge menu. The portions are huge, costs are very reasonable and has excellent service.
