I recently explored purchasing a Platinum Cottage and spent a lot of time researching the product, the installation process, and the environment at Grand Lake RV Resort where many of these units end up. After everything I learned and witnessed, I would not recommend buying one. The cottages themselves are basically glorified trailers.
