My husband booked this spot. I stayed in a 2/2 with a kitchen and living room. I was skeptical at 1st because the style is not what I usually go for. I like a Westgate, Orange Lake, Wyndham Resorts and Hilton Vacations type vibe. But I was pleasantly pleased with the space. It didn't feel luxurious but it was simple comfort. Overall quiet and family oriented. Pool, gym, kids play area, grills and outside relaxing area. Walking distance to many stores, coffee shops and restaurants. We have been staying at Grand Lake because we are doing renovations on our house. We have found the place to be very clean. The staff are accommodating. We have not used the facilities yet so we can not comment on them.

Terrible experience. I made a reservation through the Agoda website for a stay at Grand Lake & Lifetime of Vacations Resorts. Upon my late-night arrival, I encountered serious issues: - In the first apartment, the sewer was clogged, and dirty water had backed up into the bathtub. - In the second apartment offered, there was a strong, unpleasant smell of mold. Due to these conditions, I did not stay at the property. Despite this, the hotel is refusing to cancel the reservation and is attempting to charge me for the stay. One ... read more
