The Grand Hotel and Apartments was an amazing place to stay. Rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you needed. We stayed 7 nights and the room was serviced during our stay The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On our arrival we found that we had booked the wrong dates and the staff and front desk manager went above and beyond to help sort this out for us. We were so very grateful Highly recommend this property for anyone going to Townsville. And would definitely stay here again if we were to return

My recent stay at the Grand Hotel and Apartments Townsville from 6–10th of July was extremely disappointing. The room was not only very dated, but also dirty and in some cases, unsanitary. As we were travelling with our young daughter, this was especially concerning. Some of the issues we encountered included: - A broken and worn bathroom mirror. - Dirty bathroom vanity and shower. - A broken, rusty bathroom vanity. - A washing machine that did not cycle or work correctly and clearly needed repair or replacement. - Swollen d... read more
I’d like to specifically praise Ronny for his hospitality and professionalism. When I encountered a booking issue he promptly resolved it with clear and sincere communication. His knowledge of the area also meant he could suggest plenty of dining options.
