I always loved coming here as kid and it is still just as beautiful today.
Nice piece of history here in a beautiful spot. But restrooms by museum need serious upgrading and campgrounds need maintenance. Driveway to upper campground needs to be swept clean of rocks. We were spinning in low gear trying to climb the steep part because it was covered in gravel and larger stones. Made a loop and left to checkout the lower one. Wonderful park with informative staff, Matt?. Had a great stay, very clean, quiet and lots to see. Got my hiking in, and saw a barge on the river. Loved it, would stay again.
