Our 2022 Momentum G25 has been twisting and making very loud popping sounds while driving since we purchased it brand new. This is our 2nd GD camper and honestly have only used it maybe 6 times due to the fact that it is such a pain to set up because the frame is so twisted. I currently have a 2024 imagine. After the first trip out, we found a knot that is the size of a quarter with a crack in it right above the slide on the sidewall. Currently it’s sitting at the dealership, and has been for a month. And hasn’t moved yet. Currently under warranty. Instead of sending it off, I’m getting the impression they’re trying to find the cheapest guy in town to patch it. Makes me sick to my stomach!!! I need someone who specializes in campers, not some Larry’s body shop here in town!!!
We bought our camper from General Rv which I will never recommend to anyone , anymore. We had some serious issues with our camper underbelly and Grand Design was very helpful . The customer service was very pleasant and nice to deal with .we mostly dealt with Taylor Graham. She was fantastic retail service manager. We got reimbursed for the part and labor. We had some issues with our Momentum M-class from the beginning. As with all RVs there are issues that come up. Grand Design has been very helpful getting us the parts we need to take care of everything. Since we live full time in our RV, this can be challenging. Thanks specifically to Susan at Grand Design customer service for making sure everything went smooth.
I’d seriously think twice before buying anything from Grand Design. My unit, a 2022 Momentum 397 which cost WELL over $100K, is going in for frame flex and upper deck separation repairs that feel more like a temporary patch than a permanent fix. Grand Design refuses to stand behind their repairs or offer extended warranty coverage, despite the fact that I—and many others—have had these same issues reoccur multiple times.
