The fairways were impecably maintained, I was wearing a brand new pair of shoes,that gave me a blister. I took off my shoes for the final 3 holes and i have never in my 42 years walked on grass that plush. It was almost like plush carpet. The two flagged greens were very strange, but the greens were manicured with precision. The wind was blowing somewhat hard that day, and that just added to the theme of a scottish links course. This resort is famous. Beside the 36 hole golf course which plays many professional golf tournaments on tv, the old course which duplicated St. Andrews golf club is very impressive. You need to play it. I promise you wont be disappointed. The whole experience is to die for. LOL.
