We were told we couldn't check in until 4pm, so we timed our arrival to be around 5-530pm. We get there, told there are no suites ready except in a building with a broken elevator (we declined that one), so we're told that the desk will call us when a suite is ready for us. We went shopping, no call, came back, still no room. We wait until 730pm, decide to get dinner from the on-site restaurant(had pizza, best part of the night), and we're told the room is ready. Terrible! The restaurant has 1 person who works there- bartends, cooks, serves, all of it. While she does a fantastic job it seems like the concierge could stop watching videos on his phone and give her a hand. Room is incredibly dated. Pillows are flat, showerhead is too low for you to actually stand under, shower faucet is broken. Towels are old and over bleached. Outside of the buildings are all in poor condition. I seriously don’t know how this place has the good reviews as it does. I don’t even know where to begin and I’m so frustrated with our experience that I can’t keep rehashing it. Here are the bullet points - - we own here (heir ownership). The timeshare meeting was a nightmare. What a scheme. - rooms were DISGUSTING. Not timeshare interval international material. Also I am fine with outdated if your facilities are clean. But when they’re both outdated and dirty….. what is my maintenance fee going for??? - grounds were meh, ex... read more
