We had a HORRIBLE experience with not-Grand Classroom. They flew our 7th-grade children into a storm in Dallas for a layover that never should have been part of the trip. They actually took our group from South Florida west right into a storm that was predicted more than 24 hours in advance all over the internet and news, including cnn, Fox News, etc! Absolute crap of a tour guide Milli C. Was rude throughout the three Day trip. She repeatedly re-directed the tour to things she wanted to show and actually told a student of color to remove a political hat because she did not approve of it, while letting others wear theirs. I would never book with this group again...
We had Will Puckett as our guide in San Francisco and he was high energy, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and very accommodating. 10/10. We had a blast!
Grand Classroom does not care about students. They wanted and desired children to travel to a state that declared a state of emergency and ask for no one to enter or leave during the pandemic. I called them twice. Both times they lied to me, refused to allow me to speak to the owner and kept the vast majority of our money when we cancelled the trip because we actually care about our children. Shameful greed!!
During this pandemic, Grand Classroom kept more than 50% of what we had paid in full for a trip that was cancelled. We even had insurance through them! With hotels and attractions giving refunds, this company should have given substantial refunds to its clients. No one should use this company in the future on principle alone!
During a global pandemic, this company refuses to issue full refunds for trips that can not take place under operation of the law. The company's position is outrageous and NO ONE should ever do business with them again. AWFUL
