I toured many places before choosing Grand Brook Allen for my dad. Unfortunately, he was with them a short few months before his passing. In that time, I experienced incredible support from Jeanine, the Executive Director, and witnessed such gentle kindness and care from all levels of staff. Grand Brook MC Allen is a remarkable place for your loved one. We had the pleasure of being part of the GB family while our mom lived there for three years. They took great care of her, loved her as if she was their mother. It is family owned and the staff there is incredible. There is very low turnover of staff which is unheard of. Mom was always dressed as she would have if she could. We’ve had the blessing of working with Grand Brook Memory Care in Allen, and our experience has been excellent. You can tell the team genuinely cares about the residents. The facility is clean, beautiful, welcoming, and full of life, and the level of care and attention we’ve witnessed has been refreshing. Update: My mom was at another highly-regarded memory care center for 2.5 years prior to her transfer to Grand Brook. My dad and I thought that things were *ok* at the other place, but the difference in my mom since the move to Grand Brook Twin Creeks has been HUGE. My mom has (what I think is) Frontotemporal Dementia, and the staff has been wonderful with her. Not only do they take excellent care of my mom…but they also involve my mom in daily activities.
