Im sorry a room without a window is not legal anywhere but here for many reasons! We felt claustrophobic, not safe with no egress, unable to get fresh air for my hot flash at night and unable to see if was raining outside. The hotel is nice, staff is friendly and location is good. But in all our travels we have never had a room with no window. This is not legal in most states and actually not legal for private residences in SC, so why would a $500 a night hotel think this is ok for paying guests at a luxury hotel? The hotel ... read more
While this particular Grand Bohemian isn’t the most ‘Grand’ one I’ve been, it makes up with the excellent staff/ service. Straight from the valet to the hotel check in lady and then the host at the breakfast restaurant - everyone was excellent and made us felt welcomed. Rooms were nice and clean, shower was one of the best I’ve had in any hotel - great pressure and size. Location is excellent.

Absolutely love this hotel In charming Charleston SC! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by wonderful Brian the valet attendant who was super friendly and professional and he gave us great recommendations for places to eat and go while im Charleston. Everyone at the front desk were superb from Carlos who recommended us our favorite restaurant and David the front desk manager who was always willing to answer our questions and give us great tips of places to go.
