I chose the Grampians Motel purely and simply because I wanted a room with a bath at a reasonable price, and the superior rooms offer just that. It’s an older-style property, pretty basic in design and decor, but it was clean and I was travelling solo and spending my days hiking, and my room had everything I needed so no problems at all. Absolutely revolting. Flipped the pillow over to find black hairs (definitely not mine since I’ve got gold hair!). To make it worse, there were nasty yellow stains on the bed. Seriously doubt they even bother changing the sheets between guests. Grossssssssssssss
we stayed here last night and it was absolutely infested with little tiny flies. All dead up the bathroom wall, there was LOADS of them all in the lights, when we were going to bed they were all over the TV and crawling everywhere. disgusting. They were tiny so it was really hard to capture on camera properly. Can't comment on service as we were there after the opening hours of reception. Location is amazing but my god it was infested.
Photos must be 10 years old. The room is significantly out dated and poorly maintained. Damp smell and worn-out carpets. Photos are very misleading.
