I accidentally slammed my index finger in an ambulance door as I exited to pick up a patient. The end of my finger was almost completely removed but still dangling attached by not more than a string. Fortunately for me, Dr Gramig was the hand surgeon on-call. He saved my finger such that it is physically present and functional. I am amazed at the talents this man has and I will always be grateful.
