I've been staying here for a number of years, as did my Mother and an Aunt and Uncle and I refer to it as my little slice of Heaven.
This is our second time to stay here, and I can't recommend this place enough! It feels like 'home' and if I have the opportunity to make it our home, I will!!
THE GRACIOUS RV PARK IS THRIVING LIKE NEVER BEFORE. FOR TWO SEASONS IN A ROW WE ARE HAVING TO TURN DOWN RESERVATIONS DUE TO BEING FILLED TO CAPACITY. IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO WINTER OR LIVE YEAR ROUND. GREAT FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO DO WHAT THEY CAN TO HELP OUT. THE POT LUCKS AND FISH FRY ARE PRETTY GOOD TOO.
I found Gracious RV Park last summer between bluegrass festivals when camping in my tiny cottage on wheels. I am a Floridian and I am extremely grateful to have found such a local treasure. The pool is pristine, the clubhouse remodeled, the park is clean and the residents are friendly. My favorite part is watching the sunset from the swing overlooking the rim canal. Lived here for 3 wonderful years with great people managing the property & fun with the snowbirds all winter. Park sits right on the canal along lake Okeechobee with a fish cleaning area, boat ramp & pool. Last January new management was bought it & the park has gone downhill ever since. Lots of yearly residence moved out. Last time I drove by it looked bad. Would never stay here again. Do yourself a favor & pass it by...
The Gracious RV Park also has the best management team in the USA.
I spent a week at Gracious about a week ago and found it to be a most beautiful RV Park. Very clean, great fishing out the frount door--10 ft. to river and right next to lake with access very close by. The managers were very nice, helpful and capable. Thank You Andy and Pam for a great visit. This is one snowbird who return in the fall. Highly Recommend!
