The owner has a lifetime of nursing and care experience, holds her staff to a very high standard, and that's just one of many things that make this place quite unique. I moved my Dad in July of 2018 from a supposed "memory care" location to the Gracie Sturdivant Care Home, and the difference amazes me. They truly understand Dad's needs due to his Alzheimer's disease, and they treat him with utmost patience and respect. We've been very pleased with the care my father in law has received. He benefits greatly from the in-home atmosphere and predictable routines. The staff is attentive, caring, closely supervised and highly trained. Because of the limited number of residents, they are able to give each person individualized attention - nobody gets "lost in the shuffle" as might happen at larger, more "institutional" facilities..
