I started Jiu-Jitsu about a year ago and tried three different places, including this one, before choosing this school. What made me settle here was how they approach teaching — breaking things down and walking you through it step by step, in a way that actually makes sense, even when the sport feels confusing, intimidating, and complicated at first. My boys have been training here for about year, and I’ve seen so much progress—not only in their Jiu-Jitsu, but also in the way they’ve grown as young boys. The staff and everyone here are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. It’s a great environment for newcomers to come in, learn, and feel comfortable. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Before I decided to sign up for Gracie Jiujitsu, I had trialed 4 other jiu jitsu locations in the area! I immediately fell in love with this gym. They were kind to have my two boys trial the class twice before we decided to officially join. We are really happy with Professor Jackson and Professor Teddy, they are able to keep the boys engaged and excited to learn. The instructors here are excellent. They were extremely patient with my very hesitant son. They teach the kids more than just Ju-jitsu. They teach discipline, self respect and confidence. All of the staff are professional and just a great group of people. I would t go anywhere else in Houston.
