Our martial arts academy's primary focus is to teach Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in a way that is welcoming, safe, and easy for new students, especially those with no previous experience. I’ve wanted to do this forever. Signed up not realizing I wouldn’t be cleared to do this training. That was disappointing. It would’ve been fine, except the person I dealt with over email was rude about initiating the refund process, telling me they don’t process refunds because it’s hard. I disputed because I never even set foot in the gym, so I literally cost them nothing and I canceled as soon as I knew I wasn’t cleared. Down for a 2-month work assignment, dropped in, and loved it. Good instruction, friendly helpful staff....all the good things. Clean mats and clean bathroom. All the good stuff.
