I started training here at the start of September last year. I appreciate the culture that Professor Roan and Keanen as well as Hester have created. I have felt welcomed and part of the team since I have joined. Would recommend it to anyone looking to try Bjj. Great group of people and good for some tough roles.
Started jiu jitsu for self defense and confidence. This has done more than that! Roan and Keenan are both amazing teachers and help when needed and support your growth!The community is amazing as well! The girls are always backing each other and helping each other! Couldn’t recommend it more!
I’ve been training at Gracie Barra Capalaba for a little over a month now, and I can honestly say Roan and Keenan are absolute top blokes. They put a huge amount of time and effort into every single session. Coach Rohan is professional and everything you need in a instructor for self defence. He employs the right amount of energy and discipline required to not only improve his young students Jiu Jitsu, but also involves components in the training to make them good people both inside and outside the academy.
Our 2 children (8 and 10 years old) are LOVING being involved in the Gracie Barra Capalaba Community. We are already seeing the benefits in their self-confidence and have felt so welcomed by the team!
