Very nice community, friendly staff and smelt good.
I have a family member that has been living at Gracewood Highland for about 2 years. She has some unique mental & physical needs and I've been very pleased with the attention and care that she receives from the nurses and management. I also appreciate their prompt communication with me whenever there is an issue concerning her care.
If I could rate this facility a zero, I would. There is a severe lack of staff to adequately care for the residents. On several occasions, I have witnessed it taking over 30 minutes for staff to attend to our family member's needs. Furthermore, clothing and personal items have gone missing without any replacements provided. Sara Michals LALD at Gracewood went out of her way to accommodate my Mother. All the staff were very helpful towards my mother and made her last days comfortable.
