The worst doctor I have ever seen. I waited for 7 months to be able to see her and she was dismissive, rude and our appointment didn't last long as she seemed rushed. I went to someone else and it turns out she missed a very serious diagnosis. I'm glad I left.
I had a colonoscopy that went without a hitch and while there were some concerns, Dr. Shih delivered the news gently. She was quick to follow-up once the pathology report came back and referred me to someone able to help within just a few hours. She and her team are very responsive and do everything to put you at ease.
Dr. Shih is an excellent gastroenterologist. She takes the time to explain issues that may concern you. I would definitely recommend her.
Dr. Shih is the best! I have been seeing her for the past 14 years. She is compassionate, explains everything and has a great bedside manner. Due to lack of insurance coverage for some services, I opted to forego any anesthesia and am totally awake for my procedure. She has always put my comfort first and foremost preparing me for each step at the same time, creating distraction. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shih. The medical profession needs Dr. Shih's that put patients first!

Incredible. Referred by my doctor. She explains everything, why she recommends it and best of all, gets back to you right away. Went in for stomach and abdomen. Within week or so colonoscopy, breathing test (she did find something) and Cat Scan. She called me with results herself within a day. Had to have blood test and called that very day. Now doing follow up with back doctor she recommended as Cat scan showed spinal stenosis. Have MRI for situation regarding enlarged bile duct.
