Took my Peugeot 508 to Grace Mechanics for a blue slip inspection, the inspection took around 30 minutes with the car on the lift the whole time. It failed on 2 oil leaks: a CV seal and a rear main bearing seal.. The quote came to $2159, $1704 of which was for the rear main seal itself. I decided to throw some stop leak in the engine and run it for 5 hours. Got a local quote for the CV seal which came back 20% cheaper than Grace.
