I went for what I thought was rectocele and she diagnosed me with pelvic prolapse and cystocele. Said I needed surgery. She didn’t look at my defecography results with me. If she did, she would have seen that she was wrong. I got a second opinion and that doctor measured me and looked at my X-rays with me. Went over everything and took time. She was gentle and kind. I had a great experience with Dr. Biggs and her whole office staff in Hamden. Everyone was wonderful. My visit did not feel rushed and I appreciated having time to address all my concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Biggs, she was thorough, educational and kind.
Had a very bad experience. Dr. Biggs showed up over an hour late for a bulkamid procedure. Because she was late she rushed through the procedure, not waiting long enough for the numbing agent to work. I experienced extreme pain, causing my blood pressure to spike. I was admitted to the ER for an EKG and blood work. Never got a call back to check on my condition.
If I can recall, I remember having to accompany my daughter on a visit to this Dr Biggs. She was very rude nasty and might’ve been in a bad mood that day. I was there with my daughter, and I wanted to ask questions on my daughter’s behalf Considering I am her mother and was concerned, tried to speak to Dr Biggs and this woman was very nasty Totally disregarded me like I wasn’t even sitting there and continue to write in her notepad or whatever it was that she was doing I would not recommend her at all if you can’t deal with ... read more
Today Jan 7th 2025 I went to Dr.Biggs office today and enjoyed everyone .very pleasant and understanding.Dr Biggs took her time with me. She explained everything about my kidney stones that she will be removing.very happy thank you to all of you. Antonette Toni Mallozzi
