We stopped here during our stay in the St Augustine area. We recently had a transmission rebuild job done in Charleston, SC and were concerned about a new noise coming from our truck while driving. After calling them to be sure they could take a look at the vehicle, we drove there and they inspected and diagnosed the issue right away. After checking fluid levels, presence for any leaks underneath and topping off our power steering fluid, we were good to go free of charge. I should have written this sooner I have a 1991 ford pickup. Took it to another place to have the tranny looked at. They said they would diagnose it for $90. Almost 1 week later I finally got ahold of someone and they said they needed to pull the tranny and it would cost $1200 just to see what was wrong with it. They still charged me the $90 diagnostic fee??? So I picked the truck up and called GP Automotive. The owner said he would have to pull the tranny and that would cost $450 ($750 less than the other place). I agreed. ... read more
