The only place in CA where you can get truly delicious fresh cider. REAL cider pressed from apples. The frozen cider is a must. The walnuts and fruits are fresh picked and delicious. So worth the drive.
Gowan's is one of our favorite road trip stops on the way to the Mendocino coast. They have a small barn where they sell apple cider, apples, a varying selection of dried fruits and nuts and seasonal produce such as pumpkins. They have a grassy space, shaded by oak trees that has three swings for the kids to enjoy and it is conveniently located right next to the restrooms.
