Recently popped in with our German Shepherd to arrange for a consultation for a leg sprain. Our dog had been limping slightly since the day prior but still bearing weight. This was the third time in a year she has had similar symptoms. Each time the only options presented is to have her x-rayed, potentially sedated and then follow-up with medication and rest, which we have done and it is becoming quite costly. We’ve been taking our Border Collie Tilly to GoVets for years. Since Dr Nick has left, the practise has gone severely downhill. Our last three experiences in dealing with GoVets have been extremely negative. These were: 1. We took Tilly for her annual vaccinations in April 2025. Tilly is quite nervous (which we told them about) however the vet didn’t seem to care about this at all and was extreme rude and not wanting to spend any time at all slowing down. Update ** Nov 2025. Dr James and the very nurse were fantastic with my dog Fin when he had a split claw and pad injury. Got us in super quick, understanding of my high maintenance dog and super experienced and kind with him. Great to see the new team as lovely as the old one. The whole team here is amazing. Dr Nick was absolutely kind and caring when he put down our dog Digga at home for us.
