This is a great place to take your pets. The staff are all very nice, informative, and the place is very clean and in a nice location. We drive 30+ minutes to come here. We found them after my dog Koda was very sick about 5 years ago with Lyme disease. For almost 6 months the other vets we took her to kept misdiagnosing her, she kept getting sicker. Dr. Khalid is a very knowledgeable and a compassionate man. He was gentle with my 18 year old cat. He provided options for periodontal problems and explained each one of them. I believe Dr. Khalid truly had the best interest of my cat in the forthought of his mind. I have been to vets where I thought a 'shake down' was happening and there was none of that. I recently moved to Dundas and I’m so happy I found this animal hospital, The staff are so kind and helpful, My dog just had a dental procedure and it turned out to be a bit more complicated as what we first thought (chihuahua) The vet kept me updated with everything that was going on, I appreciated that so much. The staff took such great care of my little dog she’s home and seems to be doing great. Thank you Governor’s Road animal Hospital!
I can't say enough good things about this vet clinic. It's extra challenging finding a vet who knows how to care for cats properly. Governors Road is always able to accommodate us on short notice, and they're just the epitome of caring and expertise. When we had to say goodbye to our dear 20 year old kitty last year, they were there for us with compassion and top-notch care.
