It was confusing as the sign warned of a toll road. The bridge was brilliantly designed. The old bridge was called the Tappan Zee Bridge in my youth
Great for a leisurely walk or a good cardio workout take your time or power walk the 3.6 mi span. There are multiple Outlook stations with seating and viewing areas for those who just want to meander up and around.
The name is the only bad thing about this bridge. I will like to vote to be change back to it original name Tappan Zee Bridge.
