While I don't like the idea of 'buy our currency to spend at the market' it's annoying but tolerable. What's NOT tolerable is asking for $18 in *single dollar tokens* and being told I have to buy $20 'and can get change from the vendors.' If the vendors can give change they should be allowed to take cash - if they can't take cash why should I be forced to spend more than I chose to? This was my first and last visit. On the plus side I got every farm vendors info so I can buy from them directly.
RecommendedI really love going to the Govanstowne Farmers' Market! Everyone LOOOOOOOVE the crabs, and the fresh fruits and veggies are always reasonably priced!
