While I don't like the idea of 'buy our currency to spend at the market' it's annoying but tolerable. What's NOT tolerable is asking for $18 in *single dollar tokens* and being told I have to buy $20 'and can get change from the vendors.' If the vendors can give change they should be allowed to take cash - if they can't take cash why should I be forced to spend more than I chose to? This was my first and last visit. On the plus side I got every farm vendors info so I can buy from them directly.
RecommendedI really love going to the Govanstowne Farmers' Market! Everyone LOOOOOOOVE the crabs, and the fresh fruits and veggies are always reasonably priced!
Wonderful community gathering spot, excellent sectional of local produce and delicious burritos!
Great place for produce and quick delicious meals!
they could use more people and booths
Friendly and worth the money at times i wish they would come on Wednesday and fridays
Local farmers market during the summer with wonderful coffee too!
So many yummy snacks, great produce, great vibe!
