What a hidden gem this place is. The food here is simply amazing. I had a coworker recommend this place and thought I'd try it out with some friends. We were not disappointed in the least bit. The dish that I ordered was just a mixture of different flavours, from sweet, savory, umami, a bit of bitterness and spice. It was just a party for your palate. Highly recommended 👌
Mimi is back! Now with some seating! Mimi offers the most authentic and hard-to-find dishes from south-east Asia including beef rendang. My favourite is the laksa and my husband favours the char kway teow. The new menu includes pad see ew which is so good that it sometimes sways me from ordering the laksa. There isn't anything on the menu I wouldn't order more than once. Every dish is cooked to order so pre-order takeout if you're in a rush. It's always worth the wait.
Gourmet has quickly become one of my favourite restaurants in Hamilton. I've tried a variety of dishes from them and no misses! Fresh, generously flavoured, and their "very hot" is actually "very hot". Looking forward to trying more items on their menu!
Wating 30 minutes for the food,I asked when the food come they said another 15 minutes. Way too long. It was 45 minutes for 1 fried rice and 1 fried noodle. shouldn’t take that long. Plus the food is so salty. Not recommended.
