Nothing is further from the truth. Personally, he scammed me out $5000 over an unfinished bathroom remodel. He cashed the installment check and ran off. My experience with James Gould was a disaster and has resulted in us filing a civil suit against him. He made promise after promise and kept none of them. His written contract stated that he would begin the work in early April and finish in two weeks. After a month, the only thing that happened was that he made a mess of our driveway with a pressure washer, spraying randomly, leaving it unfinished, and spilling bleach. Had James Gould do staining on my log house, garage, pool enclosure & a tiny side house. His work was just gorgeous & the time he spent on the smallest details were way far above what I expected. James is a true professional at what he does & is true craftsmanship in my opinion. My home up in Murphy was far overdue for a complete staining. When he arrived for a quote we went over everything I was expecting & all my concerns & answers were fully explained. James did an incredible job for us. He was very flexible with our schedule, and worked very hard the week of Thanksgiving so that we could spend time with our family. James was a real pro, patching and repairing things that we didn't even notice and he was impressively efficient. We'll be using Gould Painting in the future!
