My S1-L5 lumbar surgery was 11/10/25 by Dr. Gottfried and it has been a very positive experience. I have been his patient for just under 2 years, as he had me get steroid shots to treat lumbar damage and excessive nerve and leg/feet pain. He used these steroid shots to isolate the nerve/lumbar damage areas in collecting data prior to any surgical procedure - this was awesome! I can also record a testimonial as well. It’s been 10 years since my fusion. For three years I have had 0 quality of life. Every other Dr looked at me and said. Nothing I can do. Neither of the two previous surgeons had the professionalism to write about my spine and its size. If they did three years ago a moderate stenosis report would have noted I needed surgery. Dr. Gottfried is the most genuine, caring, and thorough Doctor I have ever met. He is professional in every way and goes above and beyond to help his patients understand the procedure, recovery, realistic expectations, and follows up with them. I had a situation going on back in 2020 and was at wits end about it. He was able to resolve the problem for me with minimal risks and recovery. October 8th 2008 this man took my life from me by over tightening pedical screw causing to break and separating 7 days after 4 level fusion lower back and follow up visit complete pain and told him every time I moved it was like a file and pop noise and he shrugged it off and removed all staples and drains, made him release me to my former back doctor who had a reputation but retired from surgery part and that doctor ordered x rays and problem found that Oren gottfried shrugged off and had told be open back up to get screw o... read more
