Dr G. is a wonderful person. This review is strictly about his new staff who is severely incompetent. Since Mel retired (she was exceptional), her replacement is rude, untruthful and uncaring. I called to have a Px refill, gave her all the info including Px #, pharmacy contact, etc. A week later I called back because there was no notice from the Pharmacy. Despite the curt experiences in the appointments for several years leading up to my thyroidectomy, Gottesman is not a sustainable long-term care provider. He may have been brilliant in his younger days, and I appreciate the journey getting to where I am, but his final years of practicing shows impatience, lack of follow-up, and unmotivated. What a great first meeting with Dr. Gottesman! He was attentive, thorough, reassuring and informative. I left his office not feeling like a statistic, which is something I have not felt in a long time from a patient's perspective.
