My mother kept complaining about her stomach hurting her and went to her primary care who she was gping to for years, Dr. Gottesman. Dr. Gottesman kept prescribing my mother ibuprofen 800mg 3-4 times a day, consistently, as she upped the dosage on the ibuprofen when my mother kept complaining about her stomach. Dr. Gottesman told her to "wait a few months to see how she feels."This caused my mother to have an Ulcer and she almost lost her life...TWICE.
