Signed up for a Hertz rental in HNL. We were delayed, so I called Got Rental Cars and they stated that ***** would honor the reservation for 24 hours after the planned arrival . Got to the Hertz counter 20 hours late and they had no cars! Budget took care of us. Got Rental Cars said a refund would be taken 3-5 business days. No refund by day 7. Do not use them!!

I rented a car well in advance from this website. Upon arrival, there was no car for me so that means it was not secured. I spent $100 on an **** to my hotel. The next day I called to see if anything was available and they said at night there was something. In the meantime, I called a local enterprise and was able to secure a rental immediately. Upon calling them back, they told me I needed 48 hours cancellation notice. Explain to me how you do that when youre only called an hour earlier? You dont.If you want to ****** and s... read more

I prepaid $292 for a rental car to GotRentalCars and Fox Rent-A-Car didn't have a record of the prepayment and didn't honor the voucher. It's been more than three weeks and I still haven't received a refund. All I've gotten is the runaround. Ugh. Beware: This place is a ripoff.

The one and only time I've ever had a bad car rental experience was when I booked through GotRentalCars.com. I tried them because they were one of the few websites I found that allowed me to filter out electric vehicles, as I didn't want to have to figure EVs out on my vacation. They booked me for a "manager's special" with Thrifty and when I showed up at the counter, Thrifty told me the manager's special that day was an electric vehicle. I have been able to repeatedly rent through Gotrentalcars.com for all my trips and the experience has always been smooth. They also have great overall prices, for my destinations Gotrentalcars.com has always had the best deal.I never had an issue with my rentals and when contacting customer support to rebook one of my bookings, the customer service experience was amazing. They truly treat you like family.100% would recommend!

Destroyed our trip for my brother's wedding. Rented for almost 2 weeks in *****, **. Arrived to pick-up car. Company apologized and said we had to do a credit check. I have no idea why, we were in full compliance of card, arrival time, etc. We were refused the rental, and the very sweet and apologetic agent said she would heavily notate our account that we came and were refused rental.
