I live two blocks from this barbershop, so I decided to give it a try after my longtime barber stopped working. The haircut itself was just average, but that’s not what put me off. After I finished paying the $40 for the service, the barber looked me straight in the eye and asked for a tip—loud enough for everyone to hear. I could’ve overlooked an average cut, especially given how convenient the location is, but I can’t support that kind of behavior.
