Now, the flat roof is installed and I couldn't be happier. They did everything they stated in their proposal and gave us a 20 year warranty that covers everything. I absolutely love my new aluminum metal roof! I decided to replace my shingle roof with a metal roof because asphalt shingles are petroleum based and not recyclable. While a metal roof also uses valuable resources to produce, it will last for perhaps 80 years and is completely recyclable at the end of its life. I expect my new roof to outlive me by decades.
