2 hours before my appointment, Brae text me to say she had an emergency and wouldn't be able to make it. This is after I took down my braids. After I received 8 messages from them for me to confirm my appointment and give them 24 hours if I have to cancel. They didn't have the common decency to pick up the phone and call to cancel and possibly reschedule. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. I don't own a wig or a hair piece so I guess I'll figure it out. But the lack of care for the customer. The lack of accountability... read more

I got my braids done by Savannah and had such an amazing experience with her. This was my first time getting braids and she made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I was nervous about the braids being tight, but they’re not tight at all her hands were so gentle and she’s extremely confident and skilled at what she does. I have loved every experience at Got Roots Color Bar. The vibe is great and everyone I have interacted with is friendly, welcoming and professional. This place is a gem! The owner has created a wonderful space for everyone and elevated beauty services to the next level.

The space at Got Roots is very welcoming and relaxing. My stylist Savannah was great and the other staff where also friendly and fun. Prices are reasonable and they are extremely professional and attentive to your needs. I highly recommend this place !
