Patience, knowledgeable, straight forward and kind.
Please look at all the feedback. This guy shouldn’t be referred to as a Doctor. He has lost his licenses in various states and should not practice on New Jersey. He preys on his Patients and is inapporiate.
We could not have gone through our family crisis without him!
the medicine that he prescribed me gave me serotonin syndrome. When this occurred he never responded to my calls when I was in the hospital. He told my parents that I needed to see him every week telling them that I was a danger to myself even though I told him multiple times that I wasn't. He made me think that there was something wrong with me and it would never change. He made me depressed, I regret ever meeting him, he did more harm to me than helped me
I saw Dr. Goss when I was younger and he was completely unhelpful. He would actually engage in screaming matches with patients and at one point yelled "SHUT UP" when I said something snarky. I got up, left and walked home. I was reduced to tears every single appointment. I later saw psychiatrists who helped me without screaming. I'm a functional adult now, and work in social work. I would call his behavior abusive. Do NOT bring your kid here unless you want to mess them up further.
By far the most disruptive and barbaric psychiatrist I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. His medical advice, specifically in dealing with teen emotional problems, though superficially effective will, in the long term, stunt emotional growth, hinder psychological development, and foster total dependency on parental approval. I would caution anyone with the displeasure of being directed towards his practice to stay far away lest they come to see the reality of his twisted world.

What is most amazing (and I see it in his waiting room) is that the children like going to see him, and he connects to them in a real and genuine way. I've read the bad reviews here, but it sounds like the rant of someone that is unhappy, vs someone that is focused on their children
