We contracted for an ADU 18 months ago and are still waiting. Languished in permitting until we called because they didn’t. We’ve made multiple requests for at least communication believing we had been scammed. After we got the permit we were scammed for an additional $20,000 over the guaranteed price or they would not do construction. That’s a month behind in the first month. I’m not comfortable that a lot of corners won’t be cut and materials will be cheaper. I don’t feel any interest in my project at all after the sale.
Honestly, the best part about working with Goshen Tiny Homes for our Pine Hills ADU was how they helped us with the kitchen choices. I was overwhelmed, and they made it fun and easy. Plus, understanding the regulations was a breeze with their help.
