Not sure why people have an issue with Dr. Berger. He and his NP's have been very thorough and understanding to me and my family. He is an outstanding doctor and I won't change till he retires. He is one of 3 doctors that I don't feel treats me like I am a paycheck. I like the nurses they are friendly. I've only ever had a couple complaints of delaying sending important meds for my asthma and copd. But when I tell him about them he is on the ball with everyone. Was referred here for after surgical care, arrived and was promptly told that was not their job and that I had to go to the ER.
I don't usually leave reviews on here, but finding a good and responsive doctor is important (and oftentimes difficult). I hope this context helps others in their search. I have been going to Dr. Berger's office for nearly a year. During that time, I have been transferred to 3 different PCPs. None of the doctors were willing to continue my prescription for PREP (HIV prevention), because they didn't understand what it was - they even used part of a visit searching Google to learn about it.
