I've lived in multiple homes with steam heat, and these are the only air valves I will buy. Family-run, locally-made, high-quality products. Don't buy the cheap vents from a big box store - buy a Gorton and your radiators will heat quickly and quietly! (And don't forget to consult your friendly local plumbing supplier for sizing advice!)
