I bought 2 Chairs Feb 5, 2021 from Gorman's the salesperson said would be delivered end of April, then May, then June, then July, etc in Oct The Manager PROMISED end of Nov, just now the manager said looks like delivery in Jan 2022. I told him as we agreed in Oct if these 2 chairs are in my home by end of Nov we will cancel. Just now 11-19-21 the manager said you cannot cancel although he agreed on the cancelation last month so this makes no sense to keep waiting. I canceled payment of $1,101.11 (deposit) on my AX Card. Gorman's did send a floor model, but they did discount it. there was apparently miscommunication and they remedied their error. They took my complaint serious and I would definitely shop there again, as they have great merchandise.
These people sent over a floor model with a broken desk drawer even though I paid full price. They refuse to take my calls and will not call me back. I cannot understand how this could have ever happened. The sales rep must have made a lot of extra commission. His behavior was condoned, as he was not reprimanded and still works there. Now I have to hire an attorney to get my money back
