Dreadful customer service in their Boat Rental department. Based on my dismal experience with Gordy’s, I’d recommend you use Gage Marine in Williams Bay instead. I’ve never had a bad experience with a boat rental from Pier 290. Two weeks ago I called Gordy’s, with a query regarding a gift certificate. Such a great experience, nothing but 10s all around! Our captain Rick Daddy was AMAZING! We had the best time - would recommend to anyone looking for a great boat day!
We rented kayaks the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend and had so much fun! The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was also great to observe what looked like a great work environment from the outside, with coworkers at the ready to help one another. The rate was reasonable and the location was super convenient being just a quick walk from The Abbey Resort.
