Ordered a new boat from Gordy's Lake Country last fall and launched this spring on time. This was the best experience I've had from start to finish. Dylan is fantastic to work with and made sure all the details were handled from the best boat model/options for my lake to learning all the boat settings first day. His knowledge and help were both Excellent. The service center and finance group at Gordy's were professional and got it right. Very easy to do business with!
Teo replaced the transom on my boat. He was awesome. I couldn't ask for better service. This guy took the time to answer all my questions, did the work for much less than I was quoted elsewhere, and made sure my boat ran properly before returning it. I will definitely be returning to Gordy's for everything I need in the future.
We had a very bumpy, inconsistent experience with Gordy's. We had to have our new-to-us boat towed the third trip out due to an issue which should have been caught on inspection. The initial sales experience was wonderful - Molly was attentive, comprehensive and made sure our boat even had thorough drive-train inspection and a gimbal bearing replacement. We had a less than acceptable experience with Gordy’s considering the cost of our new surfboat. The boat was delivered to us completely unprepared. Dirty (grease footprints on the interior leather) dings in the surf gate, parts missing from the Bimini. Multiple people’s iPhones programmed into the boat. The surf gate malfunctioned on our test drive back to our dock. Depth gauge not working. Ballast not filling correctly. One disaster after another. I had the pleasure of working with Bill and Molly from the Oconomowoc location. They made the experience of purchasing a boat better than I have experienced in buying anything. They have paid attention not only to the small details, but the post service of the transaction has been just outstanding. They have made me a customer for life.
