Unfortunately, our experience with Gordon's Moving Company was disappointing and incredibly frustrating, especially given the timing around a major holiday weekend. The movers arrived as scheduled and after surveying the property, informed us that due to the 100-yard distance from the truck to the house and the narrow staircase, they would need additional crew members to complete the job safely. Usually, I'd take care of moving things with a buddy or two. Unfortunately, I fumbled and messed with my dominant arm right before I needed to move. Other moving companies just weren't picking up the phone. I was in a bind and time crunch. Cathy helped me get a timely appointment - on a Sunday too!! We recently hired Gordon’s for our move to Maine. The crew showed up on time and ready to work. As a former professional mover myself I was very pleased with their attitude, ability and professionalism. They took care in every area. Unfortunately we do not remember their names, but do appreciate their good service. We would defiantly recommend them to anyone.
We hired Gordon’s movers after having them recommended to us by our new landlord. From the very first phone call until the movers were leaving, everything was so easy and well explained. The 3 guys who came were super fast and efficient and took extra care wrapping our furniture to make sure nothing got ruined. We were very pleased and will definitely use them in the future if needed. 10/10 would recommend.
