My ej255 had ringland failure on cylinder 3. I brought the motor to Gordon and he rebuilt it for a reasonable price. Got it back in the car, motor locked up within 1k miles because it wasn’t timed properly. Brought motor back to Gordon, payed 1k to remove and put back in, plus 800 for parts for Gordon. Motor got a new timing kit plus some other parts. Motor got put back in car, now a cam seal leaks oil, car never leaked oil prior to new timing kit. Rebuilt my motor for a wrx pretty fast, only thing is he didn’t time the motor properly, but other than that no issues. 8k miles on it so far and it’s running healthy.
Have to take motor out should say so right away , got money saved up to have done then told no i need to take it out then he will do the motor. I dont have the know how to do so. Had to go else where wonder if he puts it in since he dont take it out?

On the end of having work done i had a 3.4 L chev 6cyl bolth completely redone and what a difference it mad hands down ty MR Gordon!
