Gordon Hardware is a great local shop with terrific, knowledgeable, helpful employees. It's hard to stump them because this shop has everything you need as well as everything you don't even know you need yet. The owner and staff are always welcoming and friendly, and always get me out of the jam I've managed to put myself into. Special order? Not a problem. If they don't have it (which is rare), they'll get it for you within a couple of days. Gordon Hardware truly is an invaluable asset to our community.
Whoever I just talked to on the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I asked a simple question about a screw extractor set and she responded with a smart-ass comment. I will not recommend this place... get new staff with manners.
Today, I went into Gordon Hardware for a copy of my keys. The emoloyees were very welcoming. I was a little worried about going inside and being visibly trans but I felt very reassured as the emoloyees made small talk with me and they helped me find the things I needed. I stopped in to return something I ordered online and on do it best website it says I can return it at a local store but they refused it. I know I'm going to avoid any do it best location since it's a run around to make a simple return
I came in with a particular project I was working on and needed their help. They were more than willing and jumped right on it. They had the right size tool to do the job that I couldn’t. Couldn’t ask for better service. I knew I picked the right place as they have helped a couple of other times in the past. I felt kind of bad as one employee did all the work while another employee and myself exchanged KISS & Stryper stories. I left very satisfied and ultimately so were my two great nephews. Keep up the good work.
